An Enhanced SVPWM Strategy Based on Vector Space Decomposition for Dual Three-Phase Machines Fed by Two DC-Source VSIs

This article presents an enhanced space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) strategy based on decomposition (VSD) for the dual three-phase machines fed by two dc-source voltage source inverters (VSIs). Compared with existing methods that only account balanced dc-link voltages, proposed method considers unbalanced voltages in both α-β and z 1 -z xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2 planes. Two categories of medium vectors are first defined this article. An 12-sector SVPWM toggles each fixed 30° sector is proposed. Moreover, performance method, including depth, range ratio, toggling point analyzed. The can reduce computational burden complicated classifications it easily chooses suitable to track reference changes ratio. experimental results techniques verified a permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) VSIs.
